Watch out for Devin Greenwood
by rachbellI've been listening to Devin Greenwood for about 3 years now. Watch out for this brilliant songwriter/poet. You can hear him play organ on some Norah Jones songs on her newest CD, but you'll be more delighted if you listen to him sing his own songs. You can definitely hear the Leonard Cohen influence, except that Devin has an exceptional singing voice! His lyrics cover such a large range of emotions, from love, fantasy to the human condition. And they are always conscious of the difficult modern times we live in.
I've been privileged to hear the full CD, which includes these songs, and I can't wait to be able to see that full length CD available here on iTunes. If you're ever in the Philly area, check the music scene out and catch one of his shows.
