Just The Beginning
by Loder
Overtime, I've watched different live bands around my area. Some may sound good and some may sound bad, but not one of them seemed like they really clicked nor had the potential to be big. That all changed when I encountered Long Walk Home. The chemistry and flat-out love for music this group has seeps through into their songs for an enjoyable listen. To describe their sound, the words refreshing, creative, talented, and long-lasting come to mind. It's fun to watch, and listen to, this band pay tribute to their influences by continuing Rock & Roll, while also putting their own modern spin and sound into it. This self-titled album, I believe, is just the beginning of a potentially lucrative and successful career for this band. Word of advice to those who reside in or near the Philadelphia area: keep an eye out for this band and attend some of their shows. I recommend this band to anyone who flat-out likes talented musicians and some good ol' Rock & Roll. I look forward to future albums and proclaim, "Welcome Long Walk Home. It's about time we had a band like you!"
