Beat Box, Bagpipes, and Belly Dance?

This album is very good for Belly Dancers (especially those of the fusion/tribal persuasion), but I find it also makes a good album to just play in the house for atmosphere. If you like "world" music this album is definitely for you. It has an interesting blend of Celtic, Middle Eastern, and American sounds that you don't hear a lot. I particularly love the Beat Box solo in "Jimmy Hafla". I also recommend "Improv: Electric Brain Play" and "Brooklyn Baladi" if you're going to pick and choose. But the whole album is fun and innovative.

by IluvbellydanceMy bellydance teacher played this CD at our last class and I had to have it! I am fairly new to bellydance and the music, and I'm always looking for new music to inspire me. I was sooo glad that iTunes had this album-talk about instant gratification! Not only is it great music to dance to, it's also great to walk to! It's on my iPod as we speak! I highly recommend this CD to all music lovers!
