Wow! Could this be one of the best?

Having gone through many children's music albums, which are so basic with very poor musical development, this album hit it right on. My daughter absolutely loves the album and makes us play it all the time; which we don't mind, since it is a nice album to listen to. Even for adults! Listening to the music brings warm smiles as they are about a child’s early journey of discovery. This album is warm spirited with a mix of warm melodies and fun upbeat dance tunes. I highly recommend it to anyone with a child from 3 to 8. They will most certainly enjoy!

Rocket Boy

In the often sticky sweet world of kid's music Rocket Boy is refreshingly light and listenable. The title track definitely gets stuck in your head, but in sort of a happy "everything's going to be alright" kind of way.
Parents will appreciate the cover art's nod to Ziggy Stardust, but don't expect to hear Suffragette City sung by chipmunks. The songs are all about the simple, happy world of a child.
Although he is not currently well-known, Klaus Ebert is clearly a real musician not just some guy with an electronic keyboard cashing in on the Baby Mozart trend.
I would recommend this record to anyone who is trying to reach a reasonable compromise between the mini-van's driver and it's passengers.

Great for both kids *and* adults!

I think most adults tire of hearing about the wheels on the bus long before children do, which is the problem with most kids' music: it appeals to kids but adults are just stuck listening to it over and over and over. Not so with Rocket Boy, which blends music and lyrics that will easily appeal to both kids and adults far beyond the first few runs through the CD. My niece listened to the CD and loved it and I've recently caught myself sitting in a few meetings at work tapping my pen to the tune of "The Rainbow Train" and "Got to Keep On Dancing." "The Sleepy Song" is a bit different than the other songs--it's a classic lullabye--but the tenderness of it makes it my favorite song on the CD (for the moment, at least, since I still can't stop tapping my pen to the "The Rainbow Train").
