Fans of the beat poets such Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, early Springsteen, and Blonde On Blonde-era Dylan will find Al Rose's wordplay just as intoxicating. What's even more thrilling is that while this has a firm base in Americana, the arrangements will bring in jazz, gospel, worldbeat and more in wonderfully thrilling ways in the most adventuresome cuts (take a brief listen to Delerium Exacto) but Rose can also go the tender route. Producer Blaise Barton has provided a great sonic landscape that allows the top-notch musicianship to shine through.
