Good mix of classical style and new-age style

by Deg

I was able to watch Vince perform live today, and I quickly snatched up two of his CDs. For those not familiar with a hammered dulcimer, think something not quite as "plucky" as a harpsichord, yet snappier than a harp. The songs on this release alternate between classical fare and new-age compositions similar to pianist George Winston's more brooding works. This is great for background music that's relaxing yet not sleep-inducing, but it's also great for those who can appreciate focusing attention on the technique of an artist. If you like the samples, you'll like the album.
