Amazing !
by thegirlBuy it ! Just buy it ! This is a great album. The first from the DDP. Dennis Dunaway, Rick Tedesco , Ed Burns and Russ Wilson are in sync and deadly. The standout is Kandahar but .. they are all terrific. Brilliant , witty , sarcastic , timely, tounge in cheek rock you haven't heard for a long time . BUY IT!
Diverse, Exciting Rock
by cheshiregrrrlThis album is full of solid rock that covers a spectrum of styles, from melodic, to grandiose, to classic, to nostalgic, and even has international twangs. I find myself adhering to certain songs, which make the others somehow more accessable.
There's definately a dark ambiance to this album, and it carries a certain style throughout, despite its diverse songwriting.
I've seen DDP live several times, and they always bring the house down with their tight playing and amusing chemistry. This carries through to Bones From the Yard.
Great production, great songs, spooky album art... this is a well-loved and much-listened to album in my collection!
My uncle rocks
