Pretty Cool...
by Ben & Kiley's DadThis is cool because it's different than the typical crappy kids music out there...I'm so tired of Barney sounding kids music! If you like this, I found "Rhythm 'n Kids" too, it's current cool sounding music of these songs. My kids absolutely love them. They like Rhythm n Kids more than Rockosaurus, I think it's a little more pleasing on the ears, but both are cool...

fun rock
by rockinTXmomIt's so great to hear these old songs treated like real song material and turned into rock. John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt needs to have its own MTV video. The homage to some of my favorite artists in the songs is great; Queen in "This Old Man" obviously, Trans-Siberian Orchestra in "Pop Goes the Weasel", and most excitingly, Chris Cornell in "Skip to My Lou". My 2 year old may not be aware of these influences, but it makes the album a really pleasant listening experience for me, *especially since we have to listen to it over and over and over again around here. This is the album of the year for our family.
