One of the best albums I've listened to

A BEAUTIFUL Album...
by LitoVThis is an absolutely amazing album. Some of the lyrics are thought-provoking, intelligent, and at times intense in their introspection and reflection (Kandahar", for example). Other songs feature lyrics that are absolutely delightful in their playfulness and self-deprecating humor ("Han Solo"). As for the music composition; it's pensive, sometimes moody, inspiring, richly layered, and always beautiful. This album reminds me of some of the offerings from some my other favorites such as Ivy and Duncan Sheik; this is music that makes you think while reaching you on a very intrinsic, aesthetic level. But, that's where the comparisons to those artists ends because while Dan may have been influenced by artists such as these...the music on this album is truly unique. What more could one ask for from a musician and his work? Bravo, Dan.
