This Is A Great 8 Bit Album
by EltiltoIf you ever played an 8 bit video game this album will rock your socks off. Computeher is one of the great chip tune artists performing today. I hear she has almost completed her second album. I can't wait until it is released. I've seen her perform in London and L.A. and her live shows are fantasic. Check out the clips on You Tube.
Complex, simple, raw, refined...
by CephallusSo then how does one describe this album? Computeher's Data Bass is played entirely on what is considered, by today's standards, very simple electronic equipment. Gameboys. 8 bit computers. Floating above the strong grooves are highly syncopated, quirky melodies that are brilliantly complex and have a way of manifesting themselves in your subconscious...so that you find yourself blipping and beeping them everywhere, much to the amusement of those around you. If you like it, do yourself a favor and order the limited edition CD, which comes packaged ultimate-hipster-cool-style in an actual 5 1/4" floppy.
Blip Blop POP!
by DesertRangerWhat a pleasant suprise when I found this girl on myspace! I heard some of her best tracks there Coco Kitty, Tickled Pink, Lost Control, etc. Then I clicked on her Itunes icon to get the rest of the goods like Pho Sho, Royal Flush, and Rockin Boogers. Now I'm hooked, and I hope there is no cure! I'm going to call my doctor and see if I can get a stronger prescription of ComputeHer!
