If he is ever in your area, worth the trip. His new CD is also fabulous. Growing up in Montana greatly influenced his life and lifestyle. His performances will move the listener.....makes the stories come to life. You will want to learn and listen to his music.

by 4Q ChazDave Stamey has got to be one of the best, if not the best "Western" music writers to come around in a long long time.A great poet and music man;he's a throwback to the times of Gene Autry,Bob Wills.or The Sons of the Pioneers. His songs are current but with the sounds of the Old West. They just don't make them like that anymore.
