Solid songwriting, fabulous vocals, and wonderful arrangment
by LacubriousOneSolid songwriting, fabulous vocals, and wonderful arrangment sum up this CD. I have all of Javier Mendoza's CDs and while each has its own allure, this one is a personal favorite. You have to hear "Julianne", it was a finalist in the Independent Music Awards online!!! Also, "Night in Cusco" will touch your heart and soul.

by AveryParentWe saw Javier perform live on accident, really. He was performing live under a starry June evening sky. Auset was his warm-up band (she's pretty good, too). We had NO IDEA who Javier Mendoza was and how talented he is. We bought this album that night and have been playing it ever since.
Night in Cusco is definitely our favorite. Great story it. Julienne is very good. Excellent percussions throughout the album, meaning use of a variety of instruments to richly complement the vocals. A great up-and-coming talent. We'll be following Javier's music for some time to come. Enjoy!
