by PiFanThe Curse of the Songwriter is an impressive adult acoustic rock/pop CD by the up-and-coming artist, Pi. We enjoyed Pi’s beautiful smooth vocals, which fit very well with the acoustic style of music. The musicianship on the CD is pro and is fronted by beautiful acoustic guitar work. The songwriting on the CD provides well thought-out vocals on this collection of memorable and melodic tracks. The track Ambition, has all the elements of an adult rock hit with its powerful and memorable chorus, and thought-provoking lyrics. The track Fraying Seems is a beautiful ballad with a well-resolved chorus, and features Pi’s warm vocals. If you enjoy acoustic adult rock/pop artists such as Jewel or Rickie Lee Jones, you will enjoy this CD. Pick up a copy today!
