by foodie521i've seen her perform lots of times and i have to say 'mrs. sample' is probably my favorite to watch. she gets so passionate about this woman who "shares [her] name." a phenomenal sophomore album! and if sarah reads this, i miss you girl! i hope to see you perform again and i'm still bummed we didn't get a good pic together. :)

What a Step Forward!
by Holy FolkThis album is a leap in the right direction. Don't get me wrong, I wore out the first album "Rotate" and still love it, but this album gives me goose bumps. The lyrics are honest and the production is unique, without getting to far from Sarah's roots. The title track "Never Close Enough" is amazing and is easily one of the best Folk or Americana songs to be released this year. Buy it and you will see. Just Superb!!!

by denmarkstreet15I have nearly worn out my old copy of Rotate over the last several years and was thrilled to find out that Sarah's new album was coming out this year. I put the CD in my car stereo, turned up the volume, and was blown away by the fuller, more mature sound. Never Close Enough reflects an older, wiser, more experienced Sarah--as both a songwriter and a person. The tracks vary in theme from tracing her roots to reflecting on the price of dreams to questioning the costs of war, and each is masterfully executed. This is a powerful second album from a truly gifted musician.
