I Need Your Light
by C-JayWhat a bright light from Ashford and Simpson. They have made Music such a bright light for most of Motown's greatest singers. Thank You Nick and Val for your Light.
Outstanding Performance
by madmax"Performance" isn't just a great Ashford & Simpson album; it's one of the best live albums ever. Nick and Val sing their greatest hits including songs they wrote for other artists - some from the golden age of Motown. The sound quality is fantastic, much better than most live albums. As for the review which complains that "Solid" isn't included - this is a reissue of the complete "Performance" lp which was recorded and released several years before the duo released "Solid".
Classic!
by BRoddYou haven't experienced A&S until you have experienced them live. Originally released on vinyl on Warner Brothers, this has most of their WB hits and some they wrote for others. "Is It Still Good To Ya" appears to be missing on here from the original Lp lineup, however. (btw - "Solid" is not on here because they had not written it when this Lp was released. That was 3 albums later.)
