by brianhCTRFI have all the albums by these fine fellows and have been fortunate enough to see them play live for several years at various renaissance faires throughout the northeast. They are a joy to listen to again and again. I only wish they still peformed together. Perhaps we will see another reunion at The CT Ren Faire someday...
Unexpected delight
by MusicologistWannabeI discovered this album after purchasing the title track "A Maid in Bedlam". Several years later, I went back and listened to "Sonnet II", which just may be the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Everything on this album is a treasure. The harmonies, the way the voices contrast and complement one another and the simplicity in which it's presented make this album a true delight. I would love to hear more - much more! - from this group. My favourites are the two aforementioned tracks (I can't play "Sonnet II" without repeating it a least once) and "Westlin Winds".
Absolutely beautiful and definitely worth adding to your collection.

by snowhorseswhat a wonderful album. I love the way the artists harmonize, the fingering of the music, brings the old days to life. Thoughts of green fields and romance, love and loss are abound in the ways that these artists paint with music. I think anyone who enjoys old folk music, and just good music will enjoy this album. I hope they make many more, and I am glad for Itunes otherwise I would never have heard such sweet harmony, and music of the heart.
