Very smooth jazz, unrecognized guitar work
by elektronika7I first heard of these guys back in the good old mp3.com days, when all the music on there was legally free. I loved their music, and wanted to buy their CD. I believe they are based out of New Zealand, and I have not seen their music distributed here in the US. About a year ago, I sent an e-mail to these guys, asking that they offer their CDs for sale on iTunes. I didn't receive a reply, but I did keep checking back every few months. So, to my surprise, about a month or so ago, I found they were offering one of their two CDs for sale here on iTunes.
All around, this is exceptional smooth jazz, performed by some very talented musicians. I would say the best track of all is the last one - "Farewell to a Friend". That song presents some musically and technically excellent guitar work. Other favorites of mine are "Harriette", "Groovity", "Falling Rain", "Piazza" and "The Peacock".
