Spacy, surprising, surefire download
by Sigmund LeominsterSpaceJunky's Resident Alien has hints of West Indian Girl, smidgins of Seal, a soupcon of Steve Hillage, shades of Ivana Santilli, and the merest sliver of Duran Duran. What, you say, Duran Duran? Heck yeah - and that is no bad thing let me tell you. If I could eat this album, I'm pretty sure it would taste delicious - double chocolate. And if I could touch it, it would feel like silk and cashmere draped atop soft leather. A steal at $9.99.
Great in Virtual Reality
by ShijuroI also saw them performing "live" in virtual reality (Second Life) where they put on quite a show. But the album stands on its own, with tracks like "Gravitational Pull", "New Religion" and "Femme Fatale" standing out. I'm hoping to use the intros from a few of these (tracks 2, 9 and 11) as ringtones, if they become available.
