Music does not get any better
by Alice CooperIf the Beatles were still together and putting out music today - this is what they would release. Music does not get better than this with catchy tunes like "On," "Veneer," "We Never Close" and "Doodle," you can't help but love it. I am calling out to everyone! Listen to it, love it and then explain to me why bands like Oasis, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the like are laughing all the way to the bank when bands like the Bears are THE most talented, yet until recently I could only find the Care Bears when I typed their name into iTunes.
Life is strange.

Always great...but different
by stacystarkweatherWhile every Bears album is a treat, this one has to be the most fun in awhile. Occasionally there is a touch of "been there done that", particulary with the chord progression from Fear is Never Boring reappearing on Normal. What is noteworthy here is how much bassist Bob Nyswonger has stepped to the fore. His bass is not only mixed MUCH louder (and that is a good thing) but his playing is much more active, inculding a couple of feature solo spots in the songs. This one sounds like they really enjoyed making it for all the right reasons...and never ever miss them live!
