Exquisitely relaxing, yet poignant

Brian Wheat's dreamy mellodies are like lullabies for the soul. "Underneath Your Breath" is seriously my favorite love song of all time. Buy this album if you have a soft spot for folk music of any kind. "Relentlessness" is another favorite for a different reason. Each song is brilliant on its own, even though it is an album you can listen to straight through without feeling jarred by different genres. Full disclosure: I've seen this band live - they are the real deal.

Brian Wheat and every one of his musicians are AMAZING. If you appreciate talented musicians, do yourself a favor and listen to his music. He has a beautiful, smooth voice that I could listen to for days - this is not just another singer/songwriter.

a solid recording

Enjoyable. The kind of atmosphere cultivated on drifting afternoons. Reminiscent of Jeff Buckley, Wilco, or Nick Drake. Try "Relentlessness".
