Not to be missed
by Saint of KillersHaunting vocals, provocative lyrics, funky beats, and perky tunes keep this album playing in a CD player, an iPod, or in your iTunes playlists. Vibrant performances characterize each song on the album, but "Brass Pole," "Sex Toy (telephone mix)," "The City," and "I'm Your Lover (Water Mix)" really stand out for the emotion poured into them. Being able to understand what's being said, and that there is a message within all the sound (which on its own is awesome, too), is a huge plus!
Pleasant Surprise
by Autolycus1It's like someone took an industrial slum and painted it in vivid colors, then scribbled poetry all over the walls. Wondering why I haven't heard of this band before? The EP Slip Away is also very good. There should be more is the only problem. Too many remixes of the same stuff indicating a shortage of material. It's all great though. Best new band I've found in years.
