Album Review
L.J. Booth has a smooth flexible voice and a relaxed ornamented guitar style that imbues his songs with a relaxed authority. His subjects are deceptively simple in the lead-off cut "Moonbeam" which finds the singer reliving the innocence of youth. Booth's jazzy flavor is reminiscent of the best aspects of Kenny Rankin's albums, though his lyrics reach farther. This is a very strong collection of poetic songs.
