Album Review

The preteen Moss Brothers "keep it real." While a lot of younger acts sing about romantic love for the opposite sex, Evan and Reuben Moss sing about their love for sports ("Baseball" and "Football All the Way"), family ("Grandpa Turns 80"), and music ("Guitar and Drums"). The hilarious "Hot Water" refers to their hatred of washing the dishes and other chores at the demand of their "mean" mom. This CD also includes fun tongue-in-cheek covers of "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" and "Ramblin' on My Mind." The Moss Brothers are not polished musicians like the Hanson brothers; in fact, they are not very good musicians, but their songs honestly reflect their lives. A fun listen.
