Lots of fun, lots of heart, lots of twang
by lilabeanI actually just got back from a show in Chapel Hill, which was amazing. The Gravy Boys are an enthusiastic group of talented musicians. They take from a wide spectrum of influences and create a blend of old-time, bluegrass, folk, and americana that is so much fun to dance and sing along to.

Country Music Done Right!

This collection of acoustic Americana tunes features guitar, upright bass, fiddle, mandolin, dobro, harmonica, and three and four-part harmony. The singing is outstanding, the rhythm section grooves, the solos are dazzling and the song writing is spectacular. The songs tell the tale of lonesome ramblers wandering the country side, unrequited love, broken spirits seeking solace in the bottle, migrant workers pining for out of reach women, and depression inspired anguish. Do yourself a favor and buy this album.
