solid rock album
by thesacredsecondjeremy simon puts together a worthy set of seven songs on "progress". the music is dynamic, the vocals are compelling, and the lyrics are straight out of jeremy's heart.
i especially recommend "push". check it out.
Awesome CD!
by iamcleanI've know Jeremy for quite a while (23 years now :) ) and can say its been fun to see from the early years of his guitar strumming to how God has moved and transformed him into using it as a instrument to bring people closer to who God is. My favorite is Jeremy pure acoustic, but this album brings new breath and life to some new and old songs. Its a style I think that is in its own. But is pleasing and enjoyable by many. Lens and Make My Heart has got to be my favorites. Make My Heart is a praise song written to prepare our hearts before God. We are unclean and dirty. Len's talks about putting our priorities and needs in the right perspective. Often times we loose focus of whats really important. That being God, and our relationship with Him. Enjoy. My only complaint....not enough songs :) - Already looking forward to the next CD.
A powerfully catchy CD
by MaewlysJeremy Simon's solo ablum is dominated by powerful vocals, catchy melodies and grooving guitars. The songs have an undertone of cheerful optimism that is enhanced through a very warm mix. The final track culminates with powerful lyrics backed by Jeremy's strong voice. To those that like alternative/emo without the dark tone, this is an excellent buy.
