In an otherwise vanilla world of abmient/chill/psy...

by Mighty Zeus

...This artist’s music stands out to me. A fusion of deep intrinsic ambience and orchestral sounds with a dark side that creeps up and kisses your ear, quite unexpectedly at times.

We all have music that we love, but are shamed to let other humans know we listen to, that is generally how I treat my chill/ambient collection. But I would share this stuff with just about anybody. The beats are just fast enough to keep you awake, and engage your senses. There is a fantastic amount of depth in the music and it all flows quite perfectly together. You’ll not find too much clashing of sounds or musical atmospheres, as can sometimes be found in the ambient/psy music.

There is a touch of the old fashioned Goa in parts of this album that I do not care for, but they are short lived and easily absorbed into the overall experience of this album, which is every bit as put, an experience. This could easily be the soundtrack to some great, tragic epoch that consumes existence, and leaves you smiling slightly in it’s wake.

I stumbled onto this artist from internet radio, but had not otherwise heard the name which is odd for me. I spend my days (and nights) roaming broadly through the electronic music world. Tracks like ‘No more sleep’ and ‘Stuck in a loop’ will catch you ear for sure.

The artist’s previous album is no less fascinating, be sure to check it out.
