The Best CD of Brother's

This album brought Brother in to the 21st century--with the use of electronica mixed with their specific brand of bagpipe-rock--and they did it very well. Great album to listen to the whole way through.

There are some moments that aren't the greatest and seem to get overdone. But those are neither here nor there when you listen to this album as a whole. The fact that a lot of the tracks were done with one take really does give it a raw feel. I love the idea of using a bagpipe as a backing instrument, unlike a lot of other bands in the same game. The bagpipe add subtlety to the mix. It doesn't get over done and adds just a little extra flavore. Too bad they aren't as popular as bands with less to offer.
