Influencing
by music-is-lifeI had never heard about this women until she came to sing to my high school choir and it changed my outlook on music. She is absolutley wonderful. She has such a beautiful voice thats so unique. She is increadibly talented, i am 15 and look up to her a lot.
A sensual treat
by chrislewI bought this cd awhile back, and upon each listening I am moved by her sensitive, gentle approach, the sophistication of her phrasing and unique rhythmic sense. She's a gem - a rare find - which seems to be recognized by an impressive list of top players who have included her on their own albums. Each time I hear her, whether recorded or live, her approach seems to have developed a little further, and always a pleasant surprise to hear another moment in time of an artist continually growing and evolving. I look forward to her next release.
