I think DC's work is awesome, he's one of the few guitarists that can really make their music sing, because theres a difference between a melody and a solo, and unlike many of the underground guitarists rising in popularity, he can balance the two out making a song both memorable and impressive. When I first heard this album, Believe and Black Bandana were my favorite songs, however after a while I've been hooked on December Dawn and the completely uplifting section in Reflections that follows the bridge. I am a young guitarist that will be attending schools such as Berklee or Musicians Institute, unlike many guitarists my age, I am obsessed with instrumental guitar with artists such as Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons, Larry Carlton, Joe Walsh, Pat Metheny, Pat Martino, Steve Vai and many others, and I can guarantee you, that this album put DC up there on my list of heroes. He's got a great sound and sense of music, and reminds me much of Joe and Eddie V.H. which are his top influences. Just do yourself a favor and buy this album haha. Truly great work.
