A welcomed return...
by Seamus43While living in Charlotte in 1998 I caught many Lou Ford shows, and when not seeing them live I was listening to "Sad But Familiar" on constant repeat. One of the best releases of that era, it remains a staple in my collection. Seven years after their follow up, it's nice to hear the familiar sound that makes their debut such a classic. As "Poor Man's Soul" comes to an end, there's no question that these last few songs ("Empty", "Crutch", and "Country Or") are some of the unreleased songs written around the same time as SBF...including the common subjects of the "bottle" and "river". Welcome back guys...hope you'll stick around for a while.

by EBdawgGreat to hear from Lou Ford again !! It's been awhile since "Alan Freed's Radio" and we needed our Lou Ford fix. A great listen from beginning to end... I really like "Get Out/In", "I Never Cried" and "Imaginary Friend".... Brothers Alan and Chad Edwards are ready for some major airtime.... so check this one out. They're great in LIVE too !!!
