Fantastic, A Must Buy for Fans of...Anything
by LLJK_OrphanOokla the Mok is a band I will be introducing people to for as long as I live. The first thing that strikes people is not their witty lyrics, primarily focused on childhood idolatry, but their fantastic musicianship. These guys can harmonize like nobodies business, and use a medley of great auxiliary instruments to create a very rich experience. Also see the band's follow up album, which evolves the sound of the band further, while also delivering funny lyrics that call back to a simpler time, and returns "...once more, to the awkward language of childhood."
10 year anneversary?!
by HerbiceI can't believe that it's been that long since the first time my ears were blessed with this CD! If you like comic books, sci-fi, pop-culture combined with witty lyrics and excellent musicianship, then this collection is for you! For me, this is an essensial grouping of songs for my iPod!
