Luminescent
by ksmusicA luminescence characterizes all of Kg's music, especially this album. A perfect album for a dinner party or light cocktail party, as well as those cool mornings when you want some chill jazz. The somewhat folky, melancholy and beautiful "I Return to You (Travels)," her lyrical adaptation of the Pat Metheny instrumental "Travels," pairs nicely with the soothing, jazzy "Songbird." The Latin arrangement of the Beatles' tune "Do You Want to Know a Secret" is great! A gorgeous voice, silky and flute-like, and beautiful arrangements. Well played, Kg!
