Found at last! Great album!
by roushravenThis was one of the very first Contemporary Christian albums I ever purchased. I got it right around the time I accepted Christ (1981) and would play it over and over again. I lost the album many years ago and would look for it in used record stores with no luck. Just by chance I searched here on iTunes and viola! Great music with a timeless message. Well worth the purchase.
I Wore This Cassette Out In My Car...
by BlackelsluckI loved the first two albums by Liberation Suite. I saw them in concert once (Fontana), and at a TV taping at the TBN studio in Santa Ana - Tustin ("In Concert" hosted by Jimmy Kempner).
This edition of the band featured the remnants of "Hope of Glory" and "Liberation Suite". It actually was a better sounding band; but it was more "Pop" sounding, instead of "Rock". They had great sounding harmonies with this line-up.
Stride for stride
by luv God- hate sinMe & my college apt. mates got this back in 1981 (I'm dating myself!) when it first came out and we about wore it out playing it on the turntable. I loved it then...I couldn't find it for years and was really pleased when itunes finally put it out! Lots of good early Christian rock praise music, good Christian ballads, & instrumental music...at times sounds like "sancitified" Chicago. Give it a listen. Thanks.
