You don't have to be a blues fan, this is a must own for anyone who appreciates acoustic guitar

My dad loves great jazz and blues, so when I find a really talented group or artist I send it to him to try to impress him with my find. After I heard this album I was excited to send him a copy. I saw Shaun play live and I have never seen someone play so effortlessly, whether it be a guitar, a banjo or a ukulele. I also enjoyed the vocals, and while I would say Shaun was born to write songs and play instruments, not necessarily to sing, I might also say the same about Louis Armstrong. His individuality adds to the charm. 5 stars.

enjoyed every note

I just got back from the sd roots festival and he was on a stage with his guitar and smooth flowing voice and that's all he needed.
every song was unique in it's own right with the common thread being obvious talent.

Blew my mind and ripped my head off!!!

This is an incredible debut album. Very deep, intimate sound. Definately steeply rooted in traditional folk and blues, Shaun's creative and inventive without any air of pretense. This is the real deal.
