Talented Artists!
by FireFairy21The voices are beautiful and the arrangements/instrumentation are captivating. Some old traditional songs find new life with this band and great original songs surpass expectation. I really love "Prickle Holly Bush" as well as "Bog Down in the Valley-O", "All the Lads In Town" and "The Devil and the Knight". The title track "Here's to the Men" is lots of fun!

by Ren-DoofThe Merry Wives are a powerhouse of vocal harmonies. This disc includes some great takes on some original tunes and some great original material. If you like Renaissance Faires or celtic music, you'd do well adding the Merry Wives to your collection, as they are probably one of the top five Ren Faire music acts around.
