by spenserFive or six years ago, I went to a Delbert McClinton concert and there was an opening act. Now if you have ever seen Delbert, you know there is no reason for an opening act.
The opening act was Patty Blee. I fell in love with her performance and I was glad there was an opening act. At the time, she had just released "Disguise". The album was good but it did not capture the rawness of her live performance.
Now, Patty has released the simplest of albums. It is just her and a guitar. There are no hits here........just pure raw wonderful music. Buy "Soul Dancing" and you will buy more. Patty Blee is an unknown treasure.
