by ssb1017Common Shiner continues to do amazing things in West Michigan, and this album is no exception. It is a great progression from their debut, with the addition of a keyboardist to complete their sound. Vocals, guitar solos, and clever lyrics stand out and leave me wanting more. Unfortunately I can't move to Chicago...
Great New Release
by Fuzzy PopIt's no surprise that Common Shiner has risen to be one of the most widely respected local bands in West Michigan in such a short period of time. With the highly anticipated release of "Viennas," CS has finally delivered the EP that we've all been waiting for. Of course, it only leaves their fans wondering when the next release will come, and how they will manage to out-do themselves yet again!
they've done it again
by TuraJoI wasn't sure Common Shiner could get much better than their album So Long..., but they definitely went above and beyond with Viennas. The addition of the keyboardist to the band is genius and once I heard the song Brooks wrote, I fell in love with the band all over again. Foster continues to write more clever (and sometimes profound) lyrics and more beautiful harmonies. The only thing I would change about this album would be for there to be more of it to enjoy. I am absolutely hooked on this band.
