Holy Cramoli!

The MNF's have a great sound, great groove, and talent that outplays their small town roots. It's hard to believe that this full sound is coming from a trio. TTT's style is fluid with plenty of energy. Doc Divot's solid bass lines add that groove only found in blues bands.
My favorites are the "how, how, how" on Down Low, everything on Virtigo, Too Much Beer, and Highway 99 has special meaning after the endless hours wondering when it was going to end.
Blues meets Funk meets one hell of a good time.

Not bad, for AWESOME

Ok, I seriously and honestly enjoyed this CD. It has kind of a roadhouse, good times and beer feel to it, and I think that's what the band had in mind. Down Low, Bartender, and Highway 99 are my favorites on this one. The vocals on Bartender sound like the guy just put his Backwoods cigar down on the edge of the amp and blew gritty smoke all over the mike while he sang it. If you are familiar at all with the California Central Valley, Highway 99 wil make you smile and shake your head at the same time. And the lyrics to I Play the Blues have a clever double meaning. I like the lead guitar's style, kind of a BB king meets Santana thing, but with some originality thrown in. All in all, it's a great driving CD to keep you hummin along and I would recommend buying it.
