GREAT record
by Free YayoI was lucky enough to catch Electric Lulintang's performance at the Swingset Magazine show in 2005 (where the final track on this record was recorded). That track alone is worth the price of the album, Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth joins in on guitar and kills it. "Shade" is another stand out on the record, a true pop gem. Highly recommend downloading the whole thing and catching them live as soon as you can.
Perfect Album
by The Duke of FADERI've had the pleasure of experiencing EK live, before i've even heard any of their music before. They truly are an amazing band, that can take any listener on a melodic journey through what feels like the orient or any mythical land. My favorite song on the album is Shade. It sets a mood that's hard to put your finger on, but the song is just so pleasing to the ears. Bangka is another favorite song. I suggest anybody who likes feeling in their music to check out this album.
