Good News

Awful! I was so disappointed! I love the hymns, but don't care for the singers, the harmony or the arrangement, although the instruments play well. I don't understand, because I've heard and sung many of these hymns at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, and these are NOT the arrangements they used.

Great CD to listen through all the way

This CD flows very nicely and is a great listen. I love the combination of old timey hymns, updated hymns and new songs that are played very honestly and joyfully without a weak moment to divert your attention. It's very loose and that is one of it's charms. It's not a perfect studio product which is one of the reasons I like it. It feels like a bunch of friends set up some microphones and recorded their Gospel jam session!
