Instant Classic

Andrew Iafrate is the most under-appreciated musician of the folk/appalachian/country/totally badass music scene today. Even though his songs seem strictly folk on the surface, they contain a pop-sensibility other folk acts lack. Pure, bearded, genius. He's got a nice dick too.

Brilliant

This album is a beautiful blend of neo-traditional folk, bluegrass and country played with a lot of sincerity and heart. Andrew Iafrate could belong in a beer joint in the coalfields of southern West Virginia or share the stage with any punk band in any city. Like great music does, it goes beyond genre-definition and appeals to a variety of music fans. This singer-songwriter deserves any praise and attention he receives, and this album should get it for him.
