They ought to be stars
by elianaleoThis band deserves to be much better known. They combine hip-hop and rock with some of the sweetest hooks I've heard in a long time. After two listens, you'll hear the songs playing in your head and will hunger for the next listen. The production is clean but not slick; just the way great rock always is. Love this album and can't wait till the next release.
Solid start to finish
by Stix1389Seen these guys live at The Bitter End in the village and needless to say this cd captures the skill of the vocals and musicality of lead guitarist, and the raw energy of the rap lines. The CD is a great add to R&B, Rap, and those who are fans of raw blues inspired contemporary guitar power. Cheers
An Impressive Collection

"Balance Between" provides an interesting and unmatched mix of two genres that previously were considered to have a crow-bar-type seperation. While not overly sexual the passion from both Petronzi and Davis is present throughout the recording. Each track fits nicely in its place on the album. The juxtaposition of Davis' spoken word against the rock mood set by Petronzi sets a wonderfully interesting mood that leaves the listener enlightened and contented. The skillful guitar work of Petronzi along with the variety of sounds and its unique composition make the album lasting and worthy of many listenings. The final (bonus) track on the album, which was recorded live at The Bitter End in NYC, is an impressive collection of guitar work and a wonderful addition to an already strong album.
Arguably, the best quality of "Balance Between" is that it is an excellent addition to any collection of music from rock to alternative to R&B and even rap. You are sure to be pleased.
