Full of Art and Creativity.

Well titled album, as it is out there. This is not your standard jazz album. It takes attentive listening to understand the overall spatial concepts of each tune. I've listened to it many times and still feel like I have a handle on everything. This album is simular to John Coltrane's 'Interstellar Space', but much more creatively and structurally developed. It sounds great!!! A work of genius from Troll and Hartig.
Here is some backround on Ric and Bob:
Ric Troll - Active as a composer and performer, Ric has led his own bands and performed with Juniper Bear, Tamboo, Richard Sinclair, Eddie Russ, Kurt Ellenberger, John Shea, Danny Heines, and the Troll, DeVos, Boughner Band. Ric is currently a member of The Rhythm Comedians. As a composer Ric's credits include numerous new music compositions as well as the theme for the public radio program The Screening Room and the theme and incidental music for the American Public Radio presentation of Pulp Radio, a series of radio dramas that included the Nick Danger [made famous by The Firesign Theater] episode Down Under Danger
Bob Hartig is a student of bop alto saxophone, but his tastes and influences are eclectic and he continually seeks to add new colors to his musical palette. A West Michigan native, he has played in formats as diverse as classic jazz combos, black gospel choirs, blues bands, big bands, church worship teams, and experimental rock projects.
