Gentle melodious numbers help this album live up to its name, Harmonious. From "Galley of Lorne" to "Minuet for Hammered Dulcimer," Donna Germano offers delicate and charming selections, exquisitely performed. Her version of "O Mio Babbino Caro" is one of the nicest ones available via MP3.com — graceful, lovely, and touching. Truly, this one will have listeners reaching for repeat play. Germano's performance of "Canon in D" begins a bit understatedly, but as instruments join in it becomes more full toned and develops depth, concluding just as delightfully as the rest. In all, fans of both dulcimer and Celtic harp will welcome this addition to the genre, and listeners will certainly be staying alert for future releases from this talented performer, as well.
