I Lived It!

by Matt Krogmeier

I am the inspiration for the Weird Al song...I was living and working in Nebraska at the time, and Dave was a co-worker of mine. What the negative posters fail to understand is that Dave captured the absurdity of the entire situation perfectly. It's never been insulting to me at all, and while the hilarity of the situation is lost on some, I treasure the hand-written lyrics and music that Dave gave me when he wrote the song. Dave's gift of music amongst friends has always been powerful, and fans of singer/songwriters, indeed fans of music, would do well to support his endeavors and listen to his songs, and the stories they tell.

this song is about as tasteless as a very small room with a fat guy who ate 2000 gallons of beans

Not sure what the others on here thought they were purchasing... did ya even sample Dave Manning before ya bought this? There is no surprise to his music, its a song writer, folky, piano, fun times, chill times kinda album!

But I must applaud the people that gave this such a terrible review for their perfect reasoning.
