Genuine and smooth
by I'mGodsfavoriteJesse B. proves that time and shifts of fame cannot hinder a true worshiper from writing and singing to God with genuine praise. And he's actually really cool in person. You can hear him weekly at a church called Illuminate, in Redmond, WA. P.S. His wife has a smooth singing voice as well.
Great songwriter!
by trevorcarpenterJesse's songwriting gift and his skillful performances make him a unique artist in a sea of plainness and similarity.
And, regarding the departure of Daily Planet...
Jesse broke his leg while on tour. Their record label dropped them, and the band dispursed. Bummer for us.
As the Crow FLies
by mQueI didn't realize that Jesse Butterworth was the former lead singer to a band called "Daily Planet". This band hit the music scene with force and then faded as fast as they came. I didn't understand why but then I heard that the lead singer put out a solo effort. I listened and enjoyed it as much as I did when I first heard his voice and music. I hope that he continues his efforts and produces more quality music. This EP explores a different side of his music talent. I also hope to see the band reunite. His lyrics always seem to be deeper than the typical production today. Great EP!
