Snotty, Catchy Pop from a Master Songwriter

Even though he's a master pop craftsman, nailing one dynamite hook after another, Mirsky never hides his humanity. "Human Nature" is all over this album. It's sweaty, embarassing, real. But it is also non-self-indulgent. This man is out to entertain, and he does so in spades. "Steve McQueen" -- the song everybody knows because it was in some film or another -- is actually the least good song on the album! Eytan Mirsky is the pop Dylan of our time. Long may he write.
