This Guy Has The Chops!
by AZDONIf you are getting tired of Stevie Ray wannabes and are looking for a hot blues player, check this album out! Johnny is by far one of the tastiest players I have ever heard (and I have been listening to blues bands for quite some time!). The highlights of this album are "Johnny's Boogie" and "Thought I Saw You." The contrast of the styles of these two tunes show Johnny's range in styles.
These guys (The Bad News Blues Band) play CHARS in Phoenix (on 7th Avenue) on a regular basis and are well worth the trip! You will NOT hear a better live blues band in the southwest (or anywhere else for that matter).

Speaking of amazing, Johnny's version of Amazing Grace is the best that I have ever heard! This is album is a must for all fans of music and especially the Blues!
