by lebatterievielIt starts with the dropped g of dreaming and it only gets better from there. The words. The music. The arch. The Hickmen have come to save us. Are we worth it? I don't know. But, I'm glad they are here to try. Carlos Santana said that if more people listened to his music we could acheive world peace. The Hickmen want you to consider how you spend your money and think about the meaning of progress. Which is the worthier (some might say) more attainable endeavor? Download this album now, lest you add to the humongous pile of plastic crap. You have been challenged and warned. Peace.
There Aint No Band Like a San Bernadino Hickmen Band
by Ralph_DesmondI saw these guys last night in Claremont, and loved 'em. Beautiful stuff -great music, excellent lyrics, great energy. Real f**cking music, not plastic crap. Im about to buy the album right now. I wanted to buy it from a physical store so I'd have the disc and the artwork, but don't want to wait. I'll buy it now here and burn CD and drive with it tomorrow! Havent heard their studio stuff, hope it lives up to the live Hickmen who are great. The other time I saw them they had the lendendariesJeff Ross on guitar AND Chris Darrow on Mandolin and that was awsome too. It's Great to live in Claremont!
