Accidentally found these guys
by KilimanjaroI was looking for "God's Gift to Us Is Canadian Girls" by Beulah (which iTunes doesn't have at the moment), when, lo and behold, I found this random band with a hard-to-pronounce name. I thought, "Why not give them a listen?" and I was surprised by what I heard. "You'll Need a Telescope" and "Annabella" are by far the easiest songs to listen to on this album, but the rest are just as good (except "August 27, 3:17am" and "August 27, 3:18am": these are just stupid wastes of time. You should buy the tracks individually and exclude the Augusts.) I have absolutely no clue how to describe what Shecky Forme sounds like, but they're extremely creative and fit into my dominantly-indie library like a glove (?). I recommend this band!
